Water Saving Tips

  • Scrape plates into the trash as much as possible after holiday meals to make sure you use less water while rinsing your dishes.

  • If you don’t use a dishwasher, fill your sink with water for rinsing and washing instead of letting the sink run.

  • Check all toilets and sinks to make sure they’re not running or leaking, causing you to waste water.

  • Check with a landscaping company so they can evaluate any plants or grass you need to water. Chances are, you might be over watering during the winter.

  • Swap your shower head for one that uses less water. You can save gallons of water with this tip.
